Enquiry data. When you contact a seller or submit an enquiry, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and the content of your message.

Newsletter data. If you sign up to our newsletter, we collect your email address.

Usage data. We collect information about how you use the Platform through cookies and analytics, such as pages visited and general activity. This is explained in our Cookie Policy.

We do not collect or process payment or financial data, because no payments are made through the Platform. All transactions take place directly between buyers and sellers away from the Platform.

4. How Listings and Enquiries Are Shared

Yacht Junky is a marketplace. By publishing a listing, you understand that the contact details and information you include will be visible to registered users so that interested buyers can reach you. Do not include any information in a listing that you do not wish to be shared.

When you make an enquiry, your details and message are shared with the relevant seller so they can respond to you directly.

5. Who We Share Your Data With

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with trusted third parties who help us operate the Platform, and only as necessary. These include:

  • Wix — our website platform, which provides hosting, member accounts, forms, and related infrastructure.

  • Zapier — used to automate workflows, such as routing enquiries and notifications.

  • Google Analytics — used to understand how visitors use the Platform.

  • Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.
